Baptism

What We Believe

Baptism is a very essential aspect of our Christian faith. Whereas it is generally accepted that there four different way of Baptism which includes: Aspersion, Affusion, Immersion ad Submersion, We hold unto Submersion which is the practice of fully dipping a person under water.

We also believe Baptism should be done in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ though Baptizing in the Titles Father, Son and Holy Spirit would not send anyone to hell, We believe as Christians we must fulfill all righteousness and move unto a perfect knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We hold this view based on the following Scriptures:

Acts 2:38  And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 

Acts 8:16  for he had not yet fallen on any of them, but they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 

Acts 10:48  And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to remain for some days. 

Acts 19:4  And Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, Jesus.” 

5  On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 

Let us go forward in this battle fortified by the spirit that those who labour in the service of a great and good cause will never fail.
